What is the average kilowatt usage for a small one bedroom apartment?
My fiance and I are moving into a small (605 sq ft) one bedroom apartment on the top floor with central a/c and hot water. The apartment does not have a washer/dryer and we do not have a computer. There are Ceiling Fans in two rooms though. What should I expect my average usage to be?
If you call the utility company with the address, they can tell you what the past usage has been. I have done this with both houses and apartments.
where is the best place to hang my ceiling fan.?
(opinion needed), i have a sloping ceiling with a centre light. my bed head meets with the lower side of my ceiling. my question is, what would be better
1*hang the fan on the higher point of my ceiling on the other side of my room.
2*hang it on the lower part of me ceiling where my bed head, and am currently sitting under.
before you answer note i have checked for the support beam and its there, so witch one would be the best option and would it effect the efficient of my fan,
thanks for your time.
it needs to be in the middle of the ceiling
Should I leave my ceiling fans on with central air.?
I have started my central air, I have fans on ceiling on main floor & upper floor bedrooms, should I leave them running whille air is on, should they be on , on the upper floor and in what direction? Thanks you for all and any help.
I have central air and have my ceiling fans on all day, then at night only in the room I’m in. My electric bill is not bad. With the Ceiling Fans going it keeps the air moving and you can probably turn the central air up higher. You need to have the fans moving in the direction where you can feel the air, pushing the air downward.
