i want to install ceiling fans in my home, but my current light fixtures only have two wires the fans have thre?

i have a red and white wires connected to the light, but, i see a bundle of black wires taped together not hooked to anything. do i use one of these as my ground.the fans i bought have a black, blue, white and green wire i can figure them out but i don’t see a copper ground coming from the ceiling

your red is probably tied into your black wires. for the fixture, tie the blue and black together and hook them up to the red wire. White to white. The black wires in the back are for other outlets or fixtures. dont mess with those and definitely dont use them for a ground. i dont know the answer to that one, maybe you can ground it to the box itself. however, in the same way the blacks are all tied together, the grounds should also all be tied together.

Are there light bulb attachments that I can purchase for ceiling fans?

Have a ceiling fan in both of our bedrooms, but no overhead light.
I’ve heard that I can buy an attachment for the ceiling fan? Thank you.
Do you know where I can purchase these light kits? I’m in Canada. Thanks.

yes you can

Controlling the Temperature of Your Bespoke Conservatory

Copyright (c) 2009 Able Skills

Adding a bespoke conservatory make a great addition to any home. Bespoke conservatories not only add value to the home, but they also provide extra living space and make it possible to enjoy the outdoors throughout the entire year. In the summer, you can enjoy the sunshine without battling the bugs or you can stay warm and toasty while enjoying the beauty of winter from within your conservatory. In order to truly enjoy your conservatory throughout the year in comfort, however, it is a good idea to install a heating and air conditioning in the conservatory.

Tapping Into What is Already There

You have numerous options to select from when installing heating and air conditioning in your conservatory. Since the conservatory is added on as an attachment to your home, one option you have is to simply tap into the central heat and air conditioning system you are using throughout your home. In order to do this, you will only need to bring the ductwork from inside of your home into the conservatory. Then, when you adjust the temperature for the rest of your home, the temperature will also be adjusted for your conservatory.

It is also possible for you to install a separate thermostat in your conservatory if you do not necessarily want its temperature to remain the same as the rest of the house. However you choose to control the temperature of your bespoke conservatory, it is important to check that your existing central heating and air system is adequate to heat or cool the extra area. Extra fan ducts can also be installed to improve the circulation of the air within the conservatory.

Installing an Independent System

If your central heating and air conditioning unit is not powerful enough to include your conservatory or if you simply want to have more direct control of its climate, you may want to install an independent system instead. A baseboard heater or a radiant heating system can both work quite well when it comes to heating the space, while a window mounted air conditioning unit can help keep the conservatory cool. Installing Ceiling Fans is also a good idea, as they help to circulate the air allow your air conditioning and heating units to work more efficiently. Regardless of the method you use, you will be pleased with the results when you are able to enjoy your conservatory throughout the entire year.
