Ceiling Fans

I want to install a ceiling fan in a room that does not have a ceiling light fixture. There is a receptacle in the room that is operated by a switch. Can I get power for the fan/light from that receptacle and how do I do it?

Simple, run a 110 wire from the outlet to where you place the cieling fan, your light switch will have to be in the ON position in order to operate the fan
