    I think you re supposed to test the wiring by turning it on BEFORE the blades are hung, just to be sure it works. If not, you have to deal with taking the fan down with the blades on, or take them off again.

    We got a ceiling fan in our house replaced, and the contractor used a screw gun to attach the blades to the irons. The irons were damaged as a result. Therefore, don’t use a screw gun for the screws on a ceiling fan.

    1. Isn’t it bad to use a screw gun on something like this, because if you accidentally got the screw in sideways, it’d basically ruin the fan?
    and 2. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FAN? I’ve been looking for fans with those blades, the wicker in the middle…i can’t find them anywhere. I’d greatly appreciate it if you’d tell me where you bought that fan.
